A rabbit whole I sometimes fall down is the wiki pages of former players with big potential that didn’t make it.

There has to be a book in that if you can find the most outlandish, odd, bizarre change of careers.

My other suggestion was going to be “Hammers Going Down,” a photographic history of Mia Khalifa’s rise to fame, if that helps.

I’m not sure if it merits a book or just a chapter in a book, and it’s 10 years too late for us, but something arguing how football clubs and their stadiums, though businesses, owned by businessmen, should be protected under cultural national heritage rules. I’ve never liked the narrative saying “It’s their club so they can do what they want with it.”
